Equipment Available from the ATAAC Team
We offer a variety of devices to trial. This list is not comprehensive, but gives a general overview. There is no special paperwork needed to trial equipment. Please complete the request for service form to set up a 4-week trial. We can also provide training to staff, parents and students about the equipment you want to trial.
If you are unsure about AT or want assistance, please contact us to set up a consultation. Specific training is also available. You can view the calendar to see about upcoming trainings and our open labs, or contact us to set up a specific training. We are also available to provide presentations for staff and parents.

Other resources to obtain AT for trials
The AT Network is a group of lending libraries throughout California. Each state has an Assistive Technology program and this is the Assistive Technology Program available for California. They offer many different types of equipment for trials, but have a special focus on tools needed to support low incidence disabilities such as expensive speech generating devices, switches, and equipment for home use.
The Center for Accessible Technology in Berkeley has different equipment and especially an iPad program for two week trials. An orientation is required and the focus is using IPads for communication.
