The internet has numerous free tools to help all students stay organized, read better, help write in different ways and make fabulous presentations. Edmodo is a simplified Learning Management System (LMS), wiki, micro-blogging site that is set up to support use in classrooms. Teachers can post assignments, ask and give feedback to students. Students can post work, keep a portfolio of their work, and reply to student work.
Evernote is a cross-platform (it works on phones, tablets, PCs, MACs) suite of tools that lets you "capture anything" such as notes, weblinks, audio, and pictures.
